Since it’s Discount Chocolate Day next week I figured I’d do a relevant Science Fact.
Bonus science fact: A chemically-inclined individual may notice that theobromine does not, in fact, contain any bromine. Theobromine derives its name from the Theobroma plant, which in turn was named for the Greek phrase “food of the gods”.
It is rather interesting too-especially since I studied chocolate's origins and trafficking for a few lessons-plus assemblies.
That sounds fun! I've never studied chocolate except for this - anything interesting?
Haha, the worst bit about it is that I don't like chocolate, I was mostly interested in the plants if I'm honest...
So no, not really much there was interesting.
I only really like Milk chocolate, but even that is too much for me, white too sweet, dark too bitter, milk is alright but boring.
