Indian Smooth-coated Otter by Alithographica Indian Smooth-coated Otter by Alithographica
After doing the scribble technique for a few months, I'm finally beginning to figure out a neater sort of hatching that I like.

Drawn from a specimen at AMNH, 3 hours, ballpoint pen.

That fish is bending in such an elegant angle. As if it was dancing before death, wanting show the world what a talented fish was killed by this unworthy otter.

Thank you! I'd love to but I'm afraid watercolor is one of my weaker mediums (though I'm working on it). Maybe a little farther down the road.

I know the feeling. Should I try? What if I ruin it? It looks so good now...
Take your time (man this sounds as if I'd knew it better. I DON'T :) )

Well the good (though inconvenient) part is that this isn't watercolor paper, so I'd have to transfer the drawing to another paper - no risk to the original. :)
